October 25, 1927, Baltimore to El Paso
Dearest,
You seem to have swung into the weekly schedule of letter writing at last --- I would appreciate an extra one now and then.
By the way, many happy returns of the day. I expect you'll get this around about the happy day.
Today was public health day in Baltimore, and the 3d + 4th year classes were honored by 2 clinics, held by a couple of men from abroad. One was from England and the other from Amsterdam. Both were very interesting.
This afternoon I had my first written quiz of the year – on Pathology of the Central Nervous System.
I've got a little more reading to do to night before I go to bed, so I guess I'd better get started.
You know I love you dear. I hope you can arrange to be a little big nearer to me next year than you are now.
Love,
Henry
